NEW YORK (Kyodo) Panasonic Corp. on Wednesday began selling its first 3-D television in the United States in partnership with local retailer Best Buy Co. Panasonic's Viera VT20, a 50-inch 3-D plasma television, was launched at an event held at a New York outlet of Best Buy a day after South Korean rival Samsung Electronics Co. announced a lineup of 3-D TVs.
