Jardine Enterprises recalls 56,450 cribs
Jardine Enterprises, involved last year in one of the nation's largest crib recalls, voluntarily is pulling another 56,450 units from stores following 19 more cases involving children breaking the wooden slats, federal safety regulators said Tuesday. There were no injuries or deaths.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with Jardine Enterprises announced a voluntary recall of the more than 56,000 Jardine Cribs . 320,000 units were previously recalled in June 2008. The wooden crib slats can break, creating a gap, which can pose an entrapment and strangulation hazard to infants and toddlers.
