Bill,I was so taken with your bike project, I spent 4 & 1/2 hours reading and planing......THEN I took the time to check the motor vehicle laws  for New York State....BUMMER!!!!They are totally  NOT legal in NYS.I was not a happy camper.When the newly elected take their chairs in Jan., I will write my Assemby person and see if anything can be done
